Hi! I’m Ingrid, a textile designer based in Copenhagen.
I work with natural dyes and botanical printing techniques like ecoprint, using leaves, steam, and time to create unique patterns on fabric.
Through Oma Textiles, I offer workshops where we explore the beauty of color in nature — from plant-based inks to steam dyeing, and more.
Each session is hands-on, relaxed, and full of inspiring stories about textiles, culture, and sustainability. 🌿

I had a wonderful time at the workshop and it was such a unique experience to design your own silk scarf. It was the perfect mix of creativity, learning, and relaxation. Guided by the warm and knowledgeable host, we painted our own scarves using natural dyes and I walked away not only with a beautiful accessory made by me, but also with a deeper appreciation for natural materials and creative dyeing techniques. I had an amazing experience in one of Ingrid’s workshops. I learned a lot, had fun and made a beautiful scarf. So when I had to find a dress for my wedding, I contacted her and asked if she could help me make something special. We bought secondhand clothes and we printed them using her eco-printing process and I absolutely love the result! I can’t wait to wear it on my wedding day!
